I am a very hard working, enthusiatic person with a huge passion for wildlife and filmmaking. I have a BA(Hons) in Television and Film Production and my final documentary I made as a group "Mark" won 'Best Documentary' at The Royal Television Society Awards.

I have been on the Wildlife Film Academy in South Africa in October 2011 which was a month long course and made "At What Cost?" which you can view on my YouTube channel. I used Sony Z1 cameras and am confident using Final Cut Pro edit software. I love travelling and I'm up for any challenge available.

I cannot see myself doing anything else with my life.

With a longstanding passion for wildlife that began before he could walk, Robbie has always known that his life would revolve around wildlife. As he matured, he realised the best way to help the natural world was to pass on his passion to others through the medium of film. Aspiring to be a wildlife presenter but currently would like to immerse himself in the industry in any and all sectors given the opportunity.

Since then he has graduated with a Zoology degree, including an open unit in maths, and then went on to graduate with a Masters in Global Wildlife Health & Conservation. Throughout the Masters he performed weekly presentations in front of the class and other academics. Furthermore he completed a dissertation, entitled "The features associated with high viewing figures in wildlife films & the role of conservation", to determine what is needed to make a 'successful' documentary and ways of incorporating conservation into these without detrimentally affecting the viewing figures.

Recently travelled for six months across four continents researching the wildlife in each location and making it his mission to capture it on film. He filmed cassowaries, Komodo dragons and pigmy marmosets in the wild (amongst many other species). Whilst travelling, Robbie also became a certified Advanced Open Water Diver. Since returning, he has taken to editing the vast quantity of footage with the aim of creating some of his own short wildlife films.

Biologist, cameraman, editor, director, drone operator, scuba diver, Phantom high speed camera operator.

I am a biologist and started a career as wildlife filmmaker in 2014. My major production is the urban nature documentary Het Noorderplantsoen, being in charge of the camera, script, editing, sound & music design and the production process. The film was locally screened in cinemas and selected for Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam, NaturVision, Menigoute festival and Green Screen. At the latter I was awarded an Honorable mention.

In 2011 I joined the Flightartists operating the Phantom v710 high speed camera to capture fast moving animals. My resulting short video A Leap of Frogwas selected for Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam and won an audience award. The footage also contributed to the Dutch Nieuwe Wildernis TV series.

Hilco Jansma

At the end of my MSc in biology I focussed on dolphin behaviour, hence I participated in HEPCAs Red Sea Dolphin project and made a promotional video for which I put my scuba diving skills to good use.

In 2013 I entered Wildeye's course Creative Wildlife Video Editing which highly improved my editing skills. Conclusively I operate Panasonics GH3+4, the Phantom v710 and Miro M320S, DJI drones and creatively edit to the footage to appealing videos. Although I can work alone I am also a fun team player. I am eager to learn to handle more cameras, new related technologies and to further improve my editing skills. I do sports to keep in shape for physically demanding conditions. I communicate fluently in Dutch, English and German.

I am available for both camera and editing projects. Have a look at my website www.hilcojansma.com to see my work.

Sebastien is a French wildlife filmmaker based in South Africa near the Kruger National Park. With extensive knowledge and experience in Southern Africa as a wildlife camera operator (Sony Z1, Sony HD NX5, Sony 400, Sony F55, Canon X20, Canon 7D, Canon C300) -photographic/filming safari guide - fixer and video editor (FCP7 and Adobe Premier Pro) Seb now runs his own natural history production company and freelances as much as possible on the side. His experience started in Cape Town, South Africa where he operated as a wilderness tour guide, taking guided tours and photographic trips through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. After a few years spent on the road, he had the opportunity to work on his first wildlife documentary for National Geographic, called “Swimming Scared” about Great White Sharks and Cape Fur Seals filmed in the notorious waters of False Bay. After even a short time working on this film, Seb finally found his true passion which took him to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve where he operated as a 2D/3D wildlife camera operator, editor and presenter for Wildearth.TV and Nat Geo Wild (Big Cat Week) on their live safaris.

Being one of the pioneers in the 3D film industry, he was approached by world renowned filmmakers, Foster Brother Productions (link this to their production company listing on your website please), to work on Dragon 3D. This 1 hour film is about scuba diving with Nile Crocodiles in the Okavango Delta and Seb was responsible for all the online 3D editing.

During his film career, Seb has edited numerous projects for Wildearth.tv, his flagship being a 13 part 3D series about safaris in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. He has filmed and directed many documentaries in the wild as well as many promo videos for guesthouses, lodges and activities in South Africa. He also assists international production companies and TV Channels such as France 3 as a fixer on site to help with local transport, accommodation, guides, location scouting, filming permits etc…

He is now an independent wildlife filmmaker through Beyond Borders Productions where he gets involved into as many wildlife documentaries and films as possible, marketing himself as a fixer, wildlife camera operator, DOP and video editor. His current project with Wildlife Conservation Channel is Volunteering For Wildlife: a series highlighting the hard work of volunteers in wildlife conservation around the world. Seb is the main camera operator on this series and directs all the post production side of it.

He is also the course director of Beyond Borders Wildlife Film School, a training institution based in the famous Kruger National Park where he offers 25 day courses about script writing, camera technology, camera techniques and video editing. The school also provides mobile photographic and filming courses throughout South Africa for those who have the travelling bug and don’t want to spend 25 days in the same location.

His love and passion for all things wild and free can be seen in his projects, and his open mindedness and inventive thinking can only be a benefit to your current and future productions.

Susan has been making documentary films for nearly twenty years now.

After studying cinematography and the craft of non-linear editing in the US, she went on to mentor with an ACE editor in Washington DC, the home of documentary. So, it's no wonder Susan fell in love with the craft of editing documentaries! Not only has she worked with some of the best wildlife and documentary filmmakers on the planet, she has gone on to win a Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival award for Best Editing, three SAFTAs as well as several international awards for her cutting. In 2010 she was awarded the use of the acronym from the South African Editors Guild. Shortly after receiving recognition of her body of work by the guild, she returned to her love of cinematography and after two decades in dark cutting rooms, she now spends as much time outdoors as she can!

Susan is now directing the crowd-funded independent film STROOP on the rhino poaching crisis.

Before summarising my resume and skills; I present you my impulsive personality. Kilometers of hiking, climbing, laying down in the mud and struggling for getting the best shot possible. I want to work for my material with a healthy portion of chaos. In the editing suite you’ll always see that it has been worth it!

At first I am a wildlife and documentary camera operator. I love creating beautiful sequences/scenes, regardless of the subject. Involve the viewer in the story and find the right emotional vibe the scene needs. Whether I drag you into a new alien macro world or a visual story about a Elm seeds, it is my challenge to make the most of it.

My scenes are shown in the main Dutch wildlife broadcasted shows and series. This amazing diverse playground trains me for the next steps in my career. The goal for coming years is to become more internationally focussed and create self-produced documentaries.

Besides wildlife I also have a broad range of experience in film marketing, commercial videos, video clips and other broadcasted shows.
