Wildscreen’s goal is to convene the best photographers, filmmakers and creative professionals with the most committed conservationists to create compelling stories about the natural world; that inspire the wider public to experience it, feel part of it and protect it.

Key initiatives:

  • Wildscreen Arkive - the world’s leading online natural world encyclopaedia
  • Wildscreen Exchange - A unique global hub that empowers conservation organisations by connecting them with world-leading filmmakers and photographers to create ground-breaking communications about our natural world.
  • Wildscreen Festival - the internationally renowned festival that celebrates and advances the art of natural world storytelling.

Wildscreen Manchester - October 2017

Symbiotic Stories was a day-long event for conservation organisations and visual storytellers at Victoria Warehouse on Thursday 19 October.

An event for those who have stories that need to be told, and those who recognise their lens as the most powerful tools to tell them. Consisting of keynote sessions and masterclasses, the day explored creative examples and practical techniques in the crafting of natural world stories that reach diverse audiences and generate real change. Curated for conservationists, photographers and filmmakers the programme unearthed how to make the most of available resources and how joining forces can drive impact and maximise reach.
